Daddy's Hat!

Annalisa loves Daddy's hats. Here she is on the chair in our bedroom where Daddy puts his hats trying them all on in her Pinocchio P.J. This is how we started our weekend!

October Play Date!

Here are two snippets of the video taken during our last Play Date at my house. We went outside and fed the "Qua Quas", as Annalisa calls them and hang out for a few hours admiring our little girls!

We tried to take some pictures of all the girls on the day bed but as usual we didn't get a 100% participation from the girls...maybe one day!

Family Vacation!

To celebrate our first anniversary as a family we are taking a trip to New York City! I know, I know! It has no relation to China or the fact that we became a family but it will be nice to have some family time and at the same time see some sights that we've been wanting to visit for a while.

We were in New York just a few weeks before the September 11th attacks. We have pictures and video of us on the twin towers. We didn't have a chance to go on the Empire State Building and climb the Statue of Liberty so we want to go back and see more of this beautiful city plus, I want to visit Ground Zero before they start rebuilding.

I am really looking forward to this trip plus, drum roll please...Annalisa and I are going to Italy for a few weeks after the New York Trip. I am looking forward to meet my niece Roberta and my brothers to meet Annalisa!

November is going to be a great month !!!

Magic Kingdom!

We took our first trip to the Magic Kingdom in Orlando this weekend. It was fun, although Annalisa could not go on some of the rides and she was scared of some others. She enjoyed the shows but she wanted me to hold on tight to her as she was excited and intimidated at the same time.

On Sunday we went to the Animal Kingdom and took a Safari ride. It was a rough ride!!! Emma (my 6 month old niece) spit up the entire bottle my sister had diligently fed her right before the ride (in retrospect we admitted it was a bad idea). On the bus I was holding on to Annalisa while trying to take a few pictures. We drove through some muddy and flooded roads and all of a sudden I had a de ja vue...I was remembering the ride to the Yihuang SWI almost one year ago. The only difference was that the SWI bus ride lasted about 4 hours.

It was a fun weekend but it was nice to get back home!
