Isabella had a sleep over our house last weekend. She is getting ready to fly to Italy for several weeks and we wanted to spend some time together. As usual the girls had a great time and were all smiles when they got up in the morning and saw each other.

Annalisa was exhausted after a full weekend of activities!

Here she is in mommy's big bed with Kitty, Sippy Cup and Book turned on her favorite Dinosaur story!

Annalisa's First Ballet Recital Portraits!

These are the portraits of Annalisa's First Ballet Recital. Tears were streaming down my eyes when she danced this afternoon. She did so good.

Everybody came to wish her good luck. Zia Grazia, Isabella & Emma. Zia Maria with Ashley. Zia Margaret with Haley, Ethan and Ryan and Zia Cheri! We filled half of the room.

Almost a Perfect Score and a Preview!

Annalisa got her 27 month old report from her daycare yesterday. It gives the parents a list of items they use to evaluate the progress each child is doing with a score for each item. Annalisa did great (sorry for bragging) but on one item she was completely stomped and failed miserably.

They showed her the picture below. This is a stick man, with one arm, one leg and one eye. The question was: "Who is this?". Acceptable answers, were "Daddy" (WHAT?????), "Mommy" (DOUBLE WHAT?????) or anything along those lines.

Here is Annalisa's Answer: "Um....."

We asked her again when we got home and her answer was: "Um..." But after she though about it for a minute she said: "Duck!". I think she figured this was very important and she better come up with something. Duck was all she could think about.

Another funny question on the report was: "Does the child speak in sentences? Give an example." Annalisa's answer: "I go Dance now". Which is a perfect segway into the next picture. Today is Annalisa's Dance Recital at daycare. Here is a preview of her costume. Tune in later for more cute pictures.

Birthday Party!

We celebrated Ashley's 4Th Birthday Party by going to the gym first and take a one hour long gymnastics class. The kids had a BLAST! Apparently Annalisa is a natural and it was suggested to me that I should sign her up for classes.Here they are warming up!
