Thanksgiving Day (Italian version)!

Well, Italians don't celebrate Thanksgiving (no Pilgrims or Indians anywhere around here) but we celebrated being together by vising Zia Maria and Zio Cosimino. They have lots of animals, including many turkeys and chickens. The turkeys looked very thankful to be alive and still kicking :)

Working our way to the turkeys and chickens!

Hey guys, do you know how lucky you are to be in Italy? In the U.S. you would be in an oven by now!

Zio Tommaso, what are you doing in the chicken cage?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, we miss you and can't wait to see you next week!

Meet the new member of the family...Miao!

This is Micio (at least that's what Nonno calls her). She lives at Zio Franco's summer apartment. We went to visit her today to feed her and cuddle with her.

This is for you Daddy!

Daddy, guess what we had for dinner last night...
Yes, you guessed right!
Your favorite, cervellata (sausage) and fegatini (liver bits)! I really enjoyed the cervellata and I even tried the fegatini (with a lot of encouragement from Mommy's). At the end, I decided that the cervellata was much tastier than the fegatini and stuck with that!

Hanging out!

Here I am learning how to drive Zio Tommaso's car. The stick shift was tricky at first but mommy tought me all about driving European CarsThen, I helped Nonna with the dishes!
Finally, I attended a play date with Maria Carla (Marina's niece)!
