Well, after one year of paper chasing and waiting we are finally here. The day we leave for China.
John and I are very excited and nervous at the same time. John is not looking forward to the long flight but I was able to upgrade us to Economy Plus with 5 extra inches of leg room so he's happy about that.
We leave Jacksonville at 9:00am this morning on United 7889 to Chicago.
We leave Chicago at 12:05 on United 851; fly over the north pole to drop off Haley, Ryan and Ethan's Christmas Lists to Santa and get in Beijing Friday around 4:00pm.
China is exactly 12 hours ahead of us so all you have to do is change am with pm or viceversa and you'll know what time it is in China.
I also wanted to let you know that I changed the settings of my blog to allow anybody to post comments (you needed to be a registered user before). At the bottom of each post there's a comment area. John and I are looking forward to read your comments, messages and good wishes.
Well it's 5:20 and it's time to get going. Grazia is picking us up around 6:15 to head out to the airport.
