My First Christmas!

I don't know about you but I am ready to get out of this high chair and check out what's under the tree!

Are we ready yet??????

Hey! I was sleeping here! What do you guys want from under MY tree!?!?!

Hmmmm! What's in those boxes?

Our first Christmas together was BEAUTIFUL. We started the morning with coffe and cake (just mommy and daddy), then opened some presents. Around noon Zia Grazia, Zio Derek and Isabella stopped by and we all got to open more presents. After that we joined the rest of the Strub family for a yummy dinner. Lastly, we visited with our extended family of friends and opened more presents and ate more food.

Annalisa didn't really grasp the idea of presents but she really enjoyed ripping off the paper and eating it.

What a difference one year makes. Last year we were stalking the mail box waiting for the I-171 to get here so we could send our dossier to China. This year we have our beautiful daughter with us and things are going wonderfully! She has adapted to her new life and family amazingly well. She is a very happy and energetic baby. We celebrated her first birthday last week and we are sure she'll start walking on her own any day now!

A special thought to all the waiting families... hang in there! I know how the holidays can be especially hard but your family will soon be whole and your heart will soon be filled with joy and amazement!

Rina, John and Annalisa!

Rina & John,

Congratulations! Annalisa is darling! We have a vacation home in Ponte Vedra Beach! We'll be there for a couple weeks in April- so maybe we'll see you at the beach, and Annalisa and Sophie can play!

Merry Christmas,
Shana & Sophie :)
