Annalisa went straight for a walker and started to zoom around the play ground. Soon afterwards a little girl approached Annalisa and started to push her around and play with her. They were so cute together, they were obviously friends because both of them really seemed to enjoy each other. They were smiling, hugging and having a good time.
When it was time to leave I felt very sad for this little girl we were leaving behind. She reminded me so much of my niece Isabella and in my heart I wished I could just bring her home with me but we had to leave.
A few days ago I saw this picture on the home page of the Yahoo group for all the adoptive parents whose children came from the Yihuang orphanage. She is being adopted from a family here in the U.S. (they are waiting for Travel Approval to go get her).
She looked so familiar to me, then I realized that this could be Annalisa's little friend. I looked back at the pictures and found these of the two of them playing together.

Still unsure if it was the same girl I posted the pictures on the Yahoo group and asked if they tought this was the same girl. Everybody saw the resemblance but then the adoptive mom told me that Kameko is a special needs child and one leg is shorter than the other.
I looked at the video I shot at the orphanage and noticed that the Annalisa little friend had a slight limp when she walked away. It was her!
My heart if filled with joy knowing that this sweet little girl has a forever family now waiting to go get her. I'll keep in touch with them hoping to find out more about Kameko and see pictures of her home coming.

Hi! I'm new to the adoption message boards & just wanted to say that your daughter is adorable. Also, her playmate in China certainly looks like the girl who will soon be arriving in the US with her parents! How fun that they might have the opporutnity to see each other again!
That is amazing! How absolutely wonderful! Keep us posted!
