Last year just about this time we finally met Annalisa. We knew the Stork was on its way but thought we would have to wait until after the long weekend before we'd get the call.
We both went to work and around lunch I decided to give up on the hope of receiving the famous "The Stork Has Landed" e-mail from our agency and went to lunch...an extended lunch to the Mall for a little Shopping Therapy!
As soon as I got back to work I saw the e-mail. I forwarded the e-mail to my family and friends telling them the time had finally come, shut down my PC and ran out of the office. I called John and asked him to get home. I called my sister and asked her to double check the body of the e-mail to make sure it actually said: "We are getting ready to call the families". Yep, it was true!
We got home, set up the video camera, got our list of questions out and then we waited, and waited, and waited. The call came in 3 hours later, around 4:00 p.m. The rest it's still a blur in my mind. I am thankful I recorded the call as I would have not remembered 90% of what happened that day.
Here are her referral pictures!

And here is our little girl today!

We spent the day at the beach!

And then playing Hide and seek around the house with Daddy while wearing funny antennas!
Here she is in the closet!
