Ground Zero, Little Italy and China Town!

This was the main reason we decided to come to New York City. We wanted to see the site before they started reconstructing. It was very emotional to walk around the site and see in person the enormity of what happened here. But it was even more emotional to visit the Memorial Center right next to Ground Zero.

After an emotional morning we needed some relief. We took the Subway Uptown and went to Little Italy for lunch.

The Jax Crew will remember this restaurant from our last visit to New York City in August 2001. We ate at Due Amici in Little Italy. Same place we had lunch 6 years ago.
